You’re Invited to a Night in the City

Please join us for a special evening for parents on Monday, March 26.  The Chicago College of Performing Arts will present its annual “Vivid” concert featuring Robert Chen, John Sharp, Meng Chieh Liu, and Andrew Grams with CCPA Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.  A reception will be held from 6:30-7:15 p.m. in the Auditorium Building, 430 S. Michigan Ave., with the concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium Theatre.  Complimentary concert tickets are available for Roosevelt parents.  To RSVP, call 847-619-7920 or email studentservices@mymail.roosevelt.edu with your name, your student’s name, daytime phone number, and number of guests attending.

2007-08 Financial Aid Priority Deadline is April 1

Students who complete their financial aid file (FAFSA and Roosevelt financial aid application) by April 1 will ensure that they are given maximum consideration for all financial aid programs. Current students who file by April 1 can also be considered for early financial aid refunds. Students also must register for fall 2007 classes during early registration in April. More information >>

Roosevelt Students Receive Newspaper Awards

Roosevelt students and the University’s Torch student newspaper won seven awards of excellence in the 2007 Illinois College Press Association (ICPA) Editorial and Advertising Contest. At the annual ICPA convention on Saturday, Feb. 17, Roosevelt’s Torch won first place for column writing, third place for editorial writing and third place for breaking news photography. Annual New Deal Service Day

Roosevelt's annual New Deal Service Day is a once-a-year opportunity for students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents and Board of Trustees to work together in the community. Teams from both the Chicago and Schaumburg campuses will work throughout the area on Saturday, April 14. More information >>

2007-08 Online Residence Hall Applications

Applications/contracts for students living in University Center and Herman Crown Center will now be submitted electronically. Students will complete their application/contract and submit the $500 pre-payment using RU Access beginning March 19. Students who complete their application/contract between March 19 and 30 will be eligible to select their preferred room during Student Appreciation Week (April 9-14) and possibly win a prize. Schaumburg Flyers on Campus

Roosevelt students Alan Bajramovic and Samantha Wartan enter a drawing for free tickets to a Schaumburg Flyers baseball game while chatting with Flyers pitcher Matt Petrusek at the Schaumburg Campus. The Flyers Caravan recently stopped by both the Early Childhood Education Center and the Dining Center, signing autographs and handing out schedules
