Roosevelt's annual Student Appreciation Week is planned for April 9-14 at both campuses. Started in the late 1990s, Student Appreciation Week features giveaways, raffles, entertainment, snacks and activities designed to thank students for enrolling at the university. More information >>

With the end of the spring semester just one month away, your student may express the need for help with a paper, exam or project. The Academic Success Center coordinates tutoring for students in a variety of subjects. Students can schedule appointments at both campuses. Roosevelt Named to President's Honor Roll
Roosevelt University has named to the first-ever President of the United States’ Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. The honor recognizes Roosevelt’s students, faculty and staff for helping build a culture of service and civic engagement in the United States. More information >>
One Book, One University
Roosevelt's third annual One Book/One University program is underway. This year, the campus community is reading Dr. Barbara Katz Rothman's "Weaving a Family: Untangling Race and Adoption." Coffee talk book discussions are planned at each campus and Dr. Katz will speak at the university in May. More information >>
New Dean Appointed in University College
John A. Cicero has been appointed dean of Roosevelt University’s Evelyn T. Stone University College, effective July 15, 2007. Dr. Cicero, an experienced administrator and professor of computer science, is dean of Academic Affairs at Benedictine University at Springfield College in Illinois where he is responsible for all faculty and curricular matters. Roosevelt Job & Internship Fair

Approximately 300 students attended Roosevelt University's annual Job
and Internship Fair on March 29 at the Chicago Campus. Among those
attending was Zach Rothstein, a junior majoring in marketing, who
discussed opportunities with Alisa Bungley of AT&T.
CCPA Vivid '07 Concert

Andrew Grams, assistant conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra, was the guest conductor at Vivid ’07, the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) largest concert of the season. More than 1,100 people attended the performance on March 26 in the Auditorium Theatre. The concert also featured CCPA faculty soloists Robert Chen, concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO), John Sharp, principal cellist of the CSO, and Meng-Chieh Liu, an Avery Fisher Career Grant winner.
