Parents Day is October 17

Roosevelt's annual Parents Day is Saturday, October 17 at the Chicago Campus and you're invited to enjoy the day with us.  Click here for more information and to register. 

Spring 2010 Registration Begins November 1
Registration for spring 2010 classes begins November 1.  Course schedules will be available online during the last week of October and students should make an appointment to meet with their academic advisor in November.  Students are encouraged to register early for the best selection of classes.

RU Creative Writing Student Wins Prize for Script

Adam Morgan, a second-year student in Roosevelt's Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing Program, has won $25,000 and the opportunity to have his award-winning comedy script, Liberal Arts, produced as a national network TV pilot by Fox Broadcasting Co.  More information >>

Influenza Information

Please encourage your student to take precautions to help stop the spread of the H1N1 influenza as well as seasonal influenza.  Click here for more information about H1N1.  The university is coordinating a seasonal flu shot clinic at both campuses in October.

Roosevelt students attended the Governor’s Town Hall Meeting on Sept. 29 with other college students from across the state to join with Governor Pat Quinn and voice their support for restoring full funding for the Monetary Assistance Program (MAP) in Illinois. College of Pharmacy

Three northwest suburban legislators were honored for their support of Roosevelt’s College of Pharmacy at a Sept. 16 reception at the Schaumburg Campus. From left to right are State Representative Fred Crespo, State Senator Dan Kotowski and State Representative Mark Walker (not pictured, State Representative Paul Froehlich) who provided funding totaling $500,000 for Roosevelt’s College of Pharmacy. Joining the legislators are George E. MacKinnon III, founding dean of the College of Pharmacy and Chuck Middleton, president of Roosevelt.
