General Information
The Paralegal Studies Program at Roosevelt University is a full-service legal education program designed to support paralegals throughout their careers. CLE seminars are generally held in the Spring (March, April & May) and Fall (September, October & November) and are open to anyone with an interest in the law. All seminars are held at our Gage Building location, at 18 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, unless otherwise specified.  Room assignments will be posted in the lobby of the building and on the outside of the program's office, Room 308.  Discounted parking is available one block from our campus at 55 E. Monroe in the evening after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends.  Information on hotel accommodations is available through the program office.  Seminars do not include refreshments or meals, but each will have a one-hour lunch break.

Who Should Attend
Our CLE seminars are designed for experienced paralegals seeking to expand their skills in a new area of law or for paralegals who have been away from the field for a brief time to refresh their skills.  The seminars are not designed to prepare someone for entry into the paralegal profession.  The Paralegal Studies Program does not seek or receive approval from the American Bar Association for these seminars or any aspect of the CLE program.  If you are interested in paralegal training that will prepare you to enter the profession with confidence, visit the Curriculum page here to read about our ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate Program.

CLE Seminar Payment
Graduates of the program are entitled to a discount for each seminar as indicated.  Current students may also enroll in CLE seminars at a discounted rate and are advised to contact the office for registration information.  Payment must be received by the first session of a seminar unless arrangements are made in advance for employer reimbursement.  Attendees who do not comply will be asked to leave without exception.

Registration, Cancellation and Refund Schedule
A registration form can be obtained from the program office, or by downloading and printing our current CLE brochure here when available. Registration must be cancelled at least two days in advance of the first session of a seminar to receive a refund.  All refunds will reflect a $50 handling charge.  In the alternative, you may receive credit toward future seminars to be used within one year.

CLE Credit
Attendees completing all sessions of a seminar will receive a "Recognition of Attendance" document a few weeks after the seminar.

On-site CLE
The Paralegal Studies Program can conduct any of these seminars as well as many other topics on-site at the location of your firm or company's office, depending on the number of interested participants.

Please direct any questions regarding Continuing Legal Education to the program office at 312-281-3300.

*The Paralegal Studies Program reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any seminar. We also reserve the right to change instructors, times and pricing.

Note: You can find additional CLE programs online through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the National Association of Legal Assistants.  NFPA's and NALA's seminars are in no way affiliated with those offered by Roosevelt University.
