Salaries

The average starting salary for graduates of the Paralegal Studies Program is currently $35,000 per year.  Recent statistics show the starting salary range for our graduates at $28,000 to $49,000 per year.

According to the Illinois Paralegal Association's 2009 Survey of Salaries and Benefits, 22% (down from 25% in 2007) of respondents make between $30,000 and $49,999 as their base salary, while 77% (up from 73% in 2007) earn $50,000 or more. The median base salary is $64,000. Additionally, the median total compensation, which includes base salary plus overtime, bonuses, and holiday gifts, is $67,000 (up from $63,000 in 2007).
