LAWA L30/PARA 330 Internship

Download a Sample Syllabus for this course

This course provides the student intern with an opportunity to gain practical work experience under the supervision of an attorney in day-to-day, on-site paralegal work.  The student must complete 135 hours at the internship site and must work there at least 10 weeks in order to pass the course.  In addition to on-site work, the student will meet with the program’s Internship Coordinator during the semester to discuss their progress with the internship.  The student intern will participate in an online discussion forum with other interns throughout the semester via RU Online, found on Roosevelt’s website.  Finally, upon completion of the on-site work, the student intern will submit a self-evaluation report on their experiences during the internship.
