LAWA L24/PARA 324 Introduction to Law (3 Semester Hours)

Introduction to Law is the same course as Civil Law, but offered in an online format. All students must take either Introduction to Law or Civil Law.

Introduction to the responsibilities of the paralegal and the important role of the paralegal profession in today’s American legal system. Fundamentals of laws concerning torts, family law, property, estate planning, administrative law, labor and employment, and intellectual property. Case briefs and other written exercises/analysis designed to increase the student’s understanding of the subject matters.
