Internship Information and Resources Information about Internships Internships are designed to provide career-related work experience while you attend school. They may be paid or unpaid and may be for credit or not-for-credit (students looking to obtain credit for their experience will need to seek approval from their academic department prior to beginning an internship). The purpose of the internship experience is to provide direction and enrichment to your education, and to enhance your value as an employee upon graduation. Advantages include:

Our co-op grant may also be of interest to you. Roosevelt University is the recipient of the Illinois Cooperative Work Study Program which places our undergraduate students with Illinois employers to obtain work-related training in the student's field of study. Our grant will reimburse the employers half of the wages that are spent while giving our students valuable experience. If your internship is a paid position, there is a possibility that we may work together in this capacity.
