What time do I need to arrive?

Will food be provided?

Yes. Breakfast will be offered on both campuses on Saturday. Pizza will be provided at the Chicago sites and snacks will be available at the Schaumburg sites beginning at around 1 p.m.

Where is the gathering place?

On Friday, volunteers meet in the Wabash Avenue lobby of the Chicago Campus and in the rotunda at the Schaumburg Campus.
Saturday registration at the Chicago Campus will be in the Michigan Avenue lobby, 430 S. Michigan Ave., and volunteers will proceed from there to the 2nd floor Michigan and Congress lounges.
Volunteers at the Schaumburg Campus will register on Saturday in the main entrance rotunda, 1400 Roosevelt Blvd.

What time will the work day be over?

On Friday, participants in Chicago will return to campus by 3:15 p.m. and volunteers in Schaumburg will return to campus by 4:15 p.m.
On Saturday, volunteers at Chicago sites return via bus to the Chicago Campus at approximately 2 p.m. Volunteers at Northwest suburban sites will return by bus to the Schaumburg Campus at 3:30 p.m.

How should I dress?

Comfortable clothing that can be allowed to get grimy.

Can I drive separately to the site?

Yes, you may choose to drive separately. However, sign in at either campus to obtain directions and information before leaving for the site.

Can I bring children to any of the sites?

Yes, some of the Saturday sites are child friendly.
