Book Collection Our book collection contains over 1,600 titles covering the Great Depression, New Deal, and World War II home front, including government source materials, memoirs, economic studies, periodicals, WPA studies, novels, propaganda, art, and photography. Center for New Deal Studies books are maintained in the Center and in Roosevelt University Library's circulating collection. Books on the list with the call number prefix "CND" are for in-library use only, and may be used upon appointment for study and photocopying. For assistance conducting research at the Center, please read our online guide. All other titles may be checked out by Roosevelt students, staff, faculty members, or alumni that hold Roosevelt library privileges. Libraries who are affiliated with one of the 45 members of the ILCSO Library System may also request these books. Contact your library for details about requesting books from Roosevelt University.
