The Scholarship of Engagement Professional Development Series presents national speakers to provide best practices, tools, and models of engaged scholarship. As faculty and staff at institutions of higher education develop programs and curricula based on community-engaged learning (service-learning, community-based research, service internships, etc.), it is essential to articulate how faculty may utilize engaged scholarship to develop their teaching, research and service in the academy. In the series, you will be able to connect with faculty from institutions around the state of Illinois, to see demonstrated models of engaged scholarship, and to develop your engaged scholarship.
