Frequently Asked Questions
University Center | Residence Life

1. Can I choose my room and roommate? When will I receive this information?

2. How can I apply for the RA position?
Information regarding the RA process will be posted around the University Center and at the Office of Residence Life at Roosevelt University. Please contact the University Center directly for more information of their Resident Advisor process.

3. Are family or couple housing options available?
Housing options are not co-ed and are not available for couple or family lifestyles.

4. What if I have questions or concerns after moving into the University Center? Who can I contact?
Students are encouraged to contact the University Center staff to assist in any questions or concerns. If additional assistance is needed, students may contact Roosevelt University’s Director of Residence Life, Angela Ryan at 312- 341-2007.

5. Is parking available?
Parking discounts are available for the Auditorium Parking Garage in the Wabash and Michigan lobby at Roosevelt University. Students are strongly advised not to bring their vehicles due to the tremendous parking expense and the easy access to public transportation provided by the City of Chicago.

A health or medical center is not available. Students living on-campus are required to have health insurance or purchase Roosevelt University’s plan.
