RU Perspective Leadership Program
Training and Development | Human Resources

The purpose of the Roosevelt Perspective for Administrators program is to identify, retain, and develop outstanding administrators by:

  • Increasing awareness of the various functions within the University
  • Engaging administrators in discussions with various key officials.
  • Learning the unique role of each campus within the Roosevelt system, including University Center.

Participants will be given the opportunity to learn firsthand, through organized visits and scheduled meetings, about the individual campuses and their unique role and mission. In addition, participants will also develop new contacts and friendships among peers. Participants will be expected to share ideas and assist in the development of future programs by serving on the following year’s selection committee.

The overall objective of the Roosevelt Perspective Program is to expand administrator’s knowledge beyond their individual department and campus and provide a broader understanding of Roosevelt University. This program is not a training class, and no assurances or guarantees about participants’ career progression can or will be made. Individuals are required to obtain the approval of their supervisor since the time commitment to this program is above and beyond the employee’s position responsibilities.
