The Murray-Green Library is located on the 10th floor of the Chicago Campus and can be reached by the south bank of elevators in the Michigan Avenue lobby. The Music Library can be reached by using the north bank of elevators off the Michigan Avenue lobby.

The Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation Library is located in Room 140 at the Schaumburg Campus. This is basically an electronic library with computers and internet access, and small, but growing, reference, circulating book and journal collections. Also, most materials available at the Chicago Campus library can be delivered to the Schaumburg Campus for you. The University van service will provide book and article delivery usually within two working days.

There is also an electronic library in room 500 of the CPA Building with 24 computers, but no book or journal collection. The library technical assistants on duty can help you with basic library services such as reference assistance, renewing books and placing interlibrary loan requests.

The library's web site is the gateway to most of the library's services and resources. At the library's Web site, you can search the online book catalog, renew books, and make requests for books from other Illinois academic libraries. You can also find and print the online full text of many journal articles. In addition, the complete text of many of the libraries reference resources are now available online. Most of the library's online resources are available from off-campus as well. Just click on the off-campus links provided. New employees should stop at the most convenient library location to make sure that your ID number has been entered into the library's database. This must be done before you can access library resources remotely.

Upon presentation of your staff I.D. card, you may check out materials and use the library facilities during regular hours of operation. You may also participate in the interlibrary loan program. For more details about any library services and resources, call extension 3643/44 at the Chicago Campus, extension 3198 at the CPA Library, or extension 7980 at the Schaumburg Campus.
