What if I do not complete, sign or submit my timesheet? |
You will be paid on the next pay day. Your supervisor cannot complete your timesheet or sign your name to it.

When should I give my timesheet to my supervisor?

You should give your completed timesheet to your supervisor on the Friday before pay day at the latest. If you are not working on that Friday, give it to him/her when you finish work that week. Supervisors may approve and submit them to payroll on Friday before the pay date. |
What if my supervisor is not working on Friday or Monday? |
Ask your supervisor whom you should get to sign your timesheet. Unfortunately, timesheets sent without signatures cannot be processed. |
What is the supervisors’ deadline for submitting timesheets and where are they sent? |
Supervisors must submit completed and signed timesheets by 10:00 am on Monday directly to payroll (AUD 801).

What happens if my timesheet is not submitted by the deadline? |

The pay date will be the business day before the pay date.

How do I sign up for direct deposit?

Complete and submit this form to payroll. (http://intranet.roosevelt.edu/controller/forms/directDepositForm.pdf). Though direct deposit is not currently required, it may be in the future so please consider signing up now. Your pay will be in your account on the morning of pay day and you do not have to worry about your paycheck being lost or stolen. |
What is my clock number? |
Your clock number is the last 5 digits of your ID number on your pay stub. This number is unique to your paycheck and is used solely as an identifier in the current payroll system. By listing this number on your timesheet, it greatly increases Payroll’s ability to process your paycheck. |
What is my ID number? |
As a student, you would use the ID number given to you by the University. If you are an hourly employee who is not a student and do not have a Roosevelt ID number, you would only need to list your clock number and last four digits of your SSN. |
I’m a graduate/research assistant. Do I have to submit a timesheet? |
If you are a graduate assistant or research assistant, Payroll does not require you to report your hours worked. You will be paid a consistent amount each pay period based on your stipend amount. |
What happened to “Authorized Rate” on the timesheets? |
The pay rate for an employee is stored in the payroll system. If a pay rate change needs to be made, a completed PRA should be submitted. |
