Bachelor of Arts
History

From the study of history can come an awareness of the diversities and similarities of human societies. A knowledge of history provides excellent preparation to those planning careers in journalism, law, geography, business, international relations, library science and teaching.

History offers sequences primarily in European and American history. Additional offerings are often available in Russian and African and Asian history.

Interested students may pick up the helpful pamphlet "For Students Who Are Majoring in History" from the College of Arts and Sciences office.
