When is Commencement?
Commencement ceremonies will be held in Roosevelt's Auditorium Theatre on Friday, May 16, 2008. In order to allow graduates to invite more guests to Commencement, there will be two ceremonies. The ceremony for the College of Arts and Sciences and Evelyn T. Stone College of Professional Studes will be at noon. The ceremony for the College of Education, Chicago College of Performing Arts and the Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration will be held at 3:30 p.m..
How do I get my cap and gown?
Click on the link to Traditions USA to place your order. You may also order rings, diploma frames and announcements. You must order by Monday, March 24, 2008 in order to receive your cap and gown for the commencement ceremony. You will pick up your cap and gown at the Salute to Graduates Reception. Details about this reception are found in this newsletter.
When will I hear about my graduation status?
In March we will compile a list of all graduation applicants. A list will be sent to each department requesting approval for each prospective graduate. Once this process is completed, we will inform you, by letter, of your graduation status. Expect to receive this letter this month.
