RESEARCH DAY

Student Nomination

Research Day, a celebration of research and scholarly activities at Roosevelt University, will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Auditorium Building, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Congress Lounge.  Student work will be displayed and a drawing for door prizes will be awarded to students participating in the program. We will present awards for best thesis and best dissertation; and we will honor all faculty and staff who have prepared proposals or received external funding to support their research, educational or service activities.

 

If you are a student who has conducted outstanding research or completed creative work (music composition, novel, set of short stories, choreography, art) this academic year, please have your professor nominate you to participate in Research Day.

 

For the Research Day presentations, we would like each participant to create a poster or visual display of her/his work.  Alternatively, we can arrange for laptops for electronic presentations, and we can discuss how other kinds of work might be displayed.
