  • Freshman biology major receives scholarship furthering Latinas in the sciences
    January 23, 2015
    Karen Martinez is the first Roosevelt University student to receive a four-year scholarship from Mujeres Latinas en Accion and the Greer Foundation.  Both organizations are working to increase opportunities for Latinos and Latinas in the sciences.
  • CCPA Orchestra to premiere Roosevelt composer's 1st symphony on Jan. 27

    Following the premiere at the Harris Theatre in Chicago, the CCPA Orchestra will perform Stacy Garrop's Mythology Symphony for a professional CD of the composer's music that is expected to be released by Cedille Records by year's end.
