Opening Reception and lecture by Sara Terry, founder and president of the Aftermath Project, September 11, 2008 | 5-8 pm
The exhibition is on display 9/11/08 – 1/9/09.
The College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Communication and the Mansfield Institute for Social Justice and Transformation are proud to sponsor the inagural exhibition of the works of award-winning photographers Kathryn Cook, Paula Luttringer, Asim Rafiqui and Andrew Stanbridge.
"War is Only Half the Story: the Aftermath Project" tells the other half of the story of conflict - the story of what it takes for individuals to learn to live again, to rebuild destroyed lives and homes, to restore civil societies, and to address the lingering wounds of war while struggling to create new avenues for peace.
