Advantages for Adult Students

Evelyn T. Stone College of Professional Studiesmortar and diploma

button copy  Save Time.  Since fewer courses are required, even if you have no prior college you can complete this bachelor's degree in about a third less time than traditional four-year, 120 semester hour programs.

button copy  Save on Tuition.  Fewer courses mean fewer semester hours to pay for, so that the total Fast Track Program may actually cost less than even programs with lower per-hour tuition rates.

button copy  Maximize Flexibility.  Work at a comfortable pace for you.  Elect to take one course or as many as you like.  Required BPS/BGS classes are offered at campuses in the Chicago Loop, in Schaumburg, and online.

button copy  Explore New Majors.  While many majors are available in traditional academic areas, some are exclusive to the Fast Track Program, such as Organizational Leadership (which is available entirely online) and Paralegal Studies.

button copy  Get Treated Like a Person, Not a Number.  You receive personal attention and academic support. Academic advising from faculty and staff is an integral part of the program.

button copy  Enjoy Small Classes.  Because classes tend to be small, Roosevelt faculty provide individual attention to students.  The general education courses required in the Fast Track Program are all offered in seminar format, with only adult students.

button copy  Get the Best of Both Worlds.  The Fast Track BPS/BGS Program provides an opportunity to concentrate in a major area of study, while recognizing that adults have learned much through life experience, through credits earned at other colleges, and often even for prior training programs.
