Department of Literature and Languages

The Roosevelt University Department of English offers undergraduate (B.A. and minor) and graduate (M.A.) degrees for students interested in the study of English. Students who pursue a graduate degree in Creative Writing (M.F.A.) follow a curriculum that combines the workshop environment with the study of literature through classes offered by the English faculty. The program features eleven full-time faculty members and numerous adjunct professors, all with a diverse variety of backgrounds and professional experience.
