Who are ELP Only students?
ELP Only students are ELP students who have not been admitted to Roosevelt University degree programs. They are studying English in ELP, but they may or may not apply for admission to degree programs at Roosevelt University.
I want to get a degree at Roosevelt University but I need to improve my English. Should I apply for ELP first?
No. You do not need to apply to ELP first. If you know the degree program you want at Roosevelt University, you can apply directly to that program. If you haven’t met the English language proficiency requirements, you can take the ELP Test, be placed in ELP according to your test results and then follow your required ELP classes with your degree coursework.
When do the next ELP classes start?
ELP classes begin on the first day of the Fall and Spring semesters at Roosevelt University. See the ELP Calendar for specific dates.
How do I apply for ELP Only?
Students can apply for ELP by filling out the Admission Application for undergraduate international students. ELP students should write ‘ELP Only’ for their choice of program. Go to Apply Now to get an application.

Does ELP issue I-20s?
