Master of Arts in Reading
Reading, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education | College of Education

Do you have a desire to improve your knowledge of reading instruction?  Are you interested in providing professional development in reading instruction to other K-12 teachers in your school or school district?  If so, then this 36 hour graduate degree program is right for you.

This advanced teacher preparation program leads to a Type 10 Reading Specialist certificate, and prepares experienced K-12 teachers for effective performance in a variety of teaching and supervisory roles in reading education.  Graduates move into leadership positions in schools and school districts, and use their knowledge to improve teaching and learning in diverse classroom settings.
