Advising
Elementary Education - Master of Arts
Elementary Education | College of Education

Graduate students in the elementary education department are assigned to an advisor in the College of Education.  Because we believe that advising is an important part of teaching, you will be assigned to one advisor to help you through the program from start to graduation.

Pre-registration advisement takes place in November for spring and summer terms and in April for fall term and students are encouraged to make an advising appointment and to register early for the upcoming semester.

If you are a graduate elementary education major in Chicago, please contact either Brigitte Erbe or Elizabeth Meadows for advisement. You can reach Dr. Erbe at 312-341-3616 or by email at berbe@roosevelt.edu (preferred) or Dr. Meadows at 312-322-7136 or by email at emeadows@roosevelt.edu.

If you are a graduate elementary education major in the traditional program at the Robin campus in Schaumburg, please see Kenneth King for advisement.  You can reach him at 847-619-8325 or by email at kking@roosevelt.edu.

If you are interested in the graduate elementary education major in the Fast-Track Saturday Program at the Robin campus in Schaumburg, please contact Sharon Grant for advisement.  You can reach her at 847-619-8831 or by email at sgrant@roosevelt.edu.

We look forward to meeting you and to helping you achieve your goal to be an educator.
