Initial Advising

Initial advisement for undergraduate students is handled through the Undergraduate Student Advising office.

Advising within Elementary Education

Students in the elementary education department are assigned to an advisor in the College of Education after the first year in the university and when approaching junior status.  Because we believe that advising is an important part of teaching, you will be assigned to one advisor to help you through the program from start to graduation.

Pre-registration advisement takes place in November for spring and summer terms and in April for fall term.

If you are an undergraduate elementary education major at the Chicago campus, please see either Alonza Everage (312-341-2435, aeverage@roosevelt.edu) or Byoung-Sug Kim (312-341-2264, bkim@roosevelt.edu) for advisement. If you are at the Robin campus in Schaumburg, please see Jeanie Crosby (847-619-8920, jcrosby@roosevelt.edu) or Sharon Grant (847-619-8831, sgrant@roosevelt.edu)..

We look forward to meeting you and to helping you achieve your goal to be an educator.
