Welcome
Educational Leadership | College of Education

Dear Prospective Doctoral Student:

Welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in our Ed.D. program in Educational Leadership.

By following the links you will find answers to many of your questions as well as forms to begin the application process. Since some of the material needed to complete the application requirements will be arriving from outside sources, it is important to get an early start. A complete application file contains:

  • an application form
  • a current resume
  • official copies of all transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate)
  • an official GRE score ( taken within three years of application)
  • three letters of recommendation (each with an accompanying rating scale).
  • an essay focusing on why you want to pursue an Ed.D. degree.

Our doctoral groups begin at our Downtown Campus in the fall of years ending in an even number and in years ending in an odd number at our Robin Campus in Schaumburg.

All application documents and information must be received by April 15 of the year you wish to enter the program in order to be called for the required admission interview. However, if otherwise qualified, the sooner your completed admission file has been received by the Ed.D. Director from the Office of Graduate Admission, the sooner your interview can be scheduled.

Please familiarize yourself with our website for more detailed information. If you have further questions, I can be reached at mjason@roosevelt.edu or 312/341-4343.

Again, thank you for considering Roosevelt University for your doctoral studies.

Sincerely,

Susan Katz, Ph.D.
Department Chair of Educational Leadership
