Human Services The Human Service Program has been designed for those individuals who are interested in acquiring a background in counseling foundations, clinical supervision, and competencies in an individualized area of interest but who are not pursuing certification or licensure. Students are required to take the following courses: Core courses for all students:
Specialized courses:
Practicum and Internship Placements Practica are located in community agencies which focus on providing services to a select population within the community, such as youth and family services, substance abuse treatment, career counseling, gerontology counseling, and counseling for domestic violence. (Hours required: 150 hours for practicum) Licensure This program does not qualify students for a license or certification. |
