Dealing with Junk Mail
Outlook | Computer Training | DoIT

Outlook 2003 comes with a built-in junk e-mail filter that will attempt to identify junk e-mail and move it to the Junk E-mail folder. This filtering ability improves over time when you help it identify what is legitimate and what is junk e-mail. You do this by adding senders to Safe and Blocked lists. You can also add entire domains to the Blocked list.

And don't forget to keep Outlook updated with the latest downloads from Microsoft. They are constantly improving the algorithm used to detect junk e-mail and you can receive the latest version if you keep Outlook patched. Click on Help | Check for Updates to download the latest updates.

The links below offer instructions on how to use the new junk e-mail filter in Outlook 2003.
