Adding Senders to the Safe Senders List
Outlook | Computer Training | DoIT

No junk e-mail system is infallible. Outlook may make mistakes and move legitimate messages to the Junk E-mail folder. You should review the subjects and senders of the messages in the folder before emptying it to make sure there are no "false-positives." If you do find a message that should not have been moved into the Junk folder, you can add the sender to the Safe Senders list to prevent future messages from that address being flagged as junk. To add a sender to the Safe Senders List:

1. Right click on the message, go to Junk E-mail, and choose Add Sender to Safe Senders List.

2. In the future, all messages from that address will be left in the Inbox.
