Add a Quick Search Button to Your Internet Explorer Toolbar

Note: You must have Internet Explorer 5.0 or above.

Internet Explorer features a Links toolbar that allows you to add your favorite links as buttons to the toolbar (see image below).

To add a button that lets you easily search the Roosevelt University Faculty/Staff Directory

1. Right-click on the RU Directory link below and choose Add to Favorites.

2. You will see a message that says "You are adding a favorite that may not be safe. Do you want to continue?" Click Yes.

3. The Add to Favorites window appears. Scroll until you see the Links folder. Click on it and then click OK.

The button is now on the Links toolbar. Click on it and then enter a last name to search the Roosevelt faculty/staff directory.

Right-click on this link --> RU Directory
