RUOnline: A Roosevelt University Education Anytime, Anywhere
Academic Computing Handbook 2007-2008 | DoIT

Roosevelt students can take individual courses, earn certificates, and earn degrees completely online. Since its launch in Fall 2001 funded by a generous grant from the McCormick Tribune Foundation, RUOnline has continued to grow. Currently, RUOnline offers over 45 courses each semester as well as undergraduate and graduate certificates, and two complete degrees: The Master of Arts in Training and Development and the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership. Additional degrees currently are in development.

Students study and collaborate online with each other and Roosevelt faculty members during the regularly scheduled semester in a structured, yet asynchronous environment. Courses are delivered through the Blackboard Course Management System, located at http://blackboard.roosevelt.edu. The use of Blackboard is not restricted to fully online courses. All Roosevelt University courses are automatically equipped with an online course site and all faculty and students receive user accounts.

For more information check the RUOnline web site at http://www.roosevelt.edu/ruonline/and click the Faculty Information link.
