Library Resources Online
Academic Computing Handbook 2007-2008 | DoIT

The Roosevelt Libraries provide students and faculty with a rapidly growing array of online resources and services. The gateway to library resources is their site on the public University Web site at

http://www.roosevelt.edu/library

One of the library’s latest and most valuable digital acquisitions is JSTOR, a digitized archive of full text scholarly journals. It offers the complete back runs of journals from the very first issues (in the 1880s for some journals) to a “moving wall” around two to five years before the current issue. The JSTOR Web site is at

http://www.jstor.org

Many licensed library resources, such as JSTOR, are only accesible from computers on the Roosevelt network. However, many of these resources are available to Roosevelt community members from off-campus locations through an authentication process. For more information see the off-campus access information page. Faculty who have difficulty with off-campus access should contact the library Circulation desk to verify that their ID number is in the library system.
