A career counselor will be available to answer your career questions and review resumes.  Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.  You can also call in with your questions: 312-341-3560.

College of Professional Studies Open House

4-6 p.m.

Here’s your opportunity to learn about the academic programs available in the College of Professional Studies.  Stop by for a snack and conversation.  Walk in advising will be available so you can talk with a staff member about majors and careers.

Uncertain about your major?  Interested in hands-on learning opportunities in college?  Wondering about career options in your major?  Discover the answers to these questions and more at the Majors Fair!  Representatives from academic colleges, university offices and student organizations will be available to talk with you.

“Ask Me About My Major” Day

Watch for faculty and staff wearing buttons and be sure to ask them about their majors and career paths.  You might be surprised by what you learn!

Getting Ready for Graduate School: What You Should Know Now

3:30-4:30 p.m.

Thinking about going to graduate school? This interactive session will answer your questions about graduate school in general, applying to graduate schools, and what you should do as an undergraduate to prepare yourself for graduate school.

What Can You Do with a Degree in Mathematics or the Sciences?

Auditorium Room 524

4-5 p.m.

Join an open forum with College of Arts and Sciences faculty and professional staff to discuss career opportunities for graduates in fields such as Actuarial Science, Allied Health, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.  Attendees are eligible for a raffle drawing!

Study Abroad Fair

Explore the world and gain excellent personal and professional skills!  The fair is your opportunity to meet with representatives from study abroad program providers to learn about amazing educational opportunities outside the U.S.

From Ideas to Action:  Choosing a Career in the Non-Profit Field, a Panel Discussion

Ever wondered what it would be like to work for an organization dedicated to making a difference?  Come talk to professionals in the non-profit field.  Discover how they used their major to find a rewarding position at a non-profit organization.  Panelist will share their experience and what it takes to succeed in their field. 

"All You Need to Know About Study Abroad" Workshop

1-2 p.m.

Interested in studying abroad?  This workshop will answer your questions and help you discover the possibilities.
