Pick Up Your CTA U-Pass The Chicago Transit Authority U-Pass is your ticket to unlimited riding aboard CTA buses and trains. Roosevelt students may use their pass beginning Aug. 29. The cost for the U-Pass is $85 per semester and will be automatically billed to your student account. Participation in the program is mandatory for full-time (12 credit hours for undergraduates, nine credit hours for graduate students and six credit hours for doctoral students), degree-seeking Chicago Campus students. Part-time students are not eligible for the U-Pass and may not receive or purchase a U-Pass.
