Eighty-four academic achievers, including 14 students who had perfect grade point averages of 4.0 during the fall 2007 semester, were recognized Friday, Feb. 15, during a luncheon at the Chicago Campus sponsored by Project Prime, a federally-funded program for low-income, disabled and first-generation college students at the University. The Counseling Center hosted a game of Sex Jeopardy that tested student’s knowledge of STDs, birth control, and general sex information. The event was held Tuesday in the Congress Lounge and gave students an opportunity to learn about sex and obtain information from a professional staff in a fun way.

Roosevelt's acclaimed Border Film Project opened Thursday night at the Gage Gallery. The exhibit features photos taken by undocumented migrants trying to cross through the desert from Mexico into the United States and by Minutemen trying to stop the illegal crossings.
