Mission
The mission of the Institute
of Real Estate is to provide continuing education, research, professional
leadership and leading edge thinking in all important matters relating to real
estate in the greater Chicago metropolitan area for the benefit of residents and
visitors today and in the future, for the benefit of students and faculty of the
Chicago School of Real Estate, and for
the benefit of the real estate industry.
Institute Objectives:
- To expand the research,
funding, and outreach capabilities of the Chicago School of Real Estate
- To provide educational
funding resources to the disadvantaged
- To document trends in
real estate activity in the community we serve
- To upgrade the
professionalism, skill sets and business practices of the real estate
industry in the region through continuing education, events, and training
- To measurably improve
the quality of real estate for the benefit of the metropolitan region
- To expand opportunities
in the industry for the ethnic, economic, gender and culturally
disadvantaged
- To add to the real
estate body of knowledge in Chicago as well as nationally and
internationally by bringing together leaders in all areas of real estate.
- To strengthen the Board
of Advisors to benefit its members and the school
