Community Involvement
Center for Campus Life

As an active member of the northwest suburban region, Roosevelt University is engaged in a variety of community and volunteer service opportunities throughout the year. Within the Center for Campus Life, the Community Involvement Programs unit provides the following services.

  • The Enlightenment Project and the Path to Enlightenment Challenge
  • Identify Community Service Opportunities for students staff and faculty
  • Serve as a contact office for local agencies looking for short term volunteers
  • Assist interested faculty with the administration of service - learning requirements for students in their classes.
  • Work with student organizations that are looking to adopt a local agency, school or class.

In the spring, the University hosts New Deal Service Day, which connects students, faculty, staff, and alumni with local service agencies for a "hands on" opportunity to help others.
