The Roosevelt University Library proudly sponsors its 4th annual Undergraduate Research Award. A first place award of $500 and five honorable mention awards of $50 will be given in spring 2010. Awards will be given in recognition of outstanding research papers or projects that demonstrate significant use of library resources and services and show evidence of the application of research and information-gathering skills in producing original scholarship.
The Library invites submissions from all degree seeking undergraduates. Students may enter research projects or papers completed for a Roosevelt University course. Research projects must be completed at the time of submission. The awards will be given in April 2010, and entries from the academic terms of Spring 2009, Summer 2009 and Fall 2009 are eligible. Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. March 15, 2010.
A panel of Roosevelt faculty, librarians and other educators will judge entries. Complete details regarding the application and evaluation process can be found at:

Faculty members are asked to encourage their students to submit research projects for this competition. The Library supports all students in producing outstanding research and looks forward to recognizing research of exceptional quality.
