Psychology - Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts Programs
Department of Psychology

The Roosevelt University Department of Psychology offers undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs targeted to meet the needs of today's complex society. We offer a strong and balanced curriculum designed to prepare students for work or graduate study.

The B.A. or B.S. in Psychology

An undergraduate major or minor in psychology provides an excellent background for careers that involve working with people. Psychology graduates find work in business, sales, counseling, education, and health care. The BA or BS is also essential preparation for those considering master's or doctoral work in psychology, and excellent preparation for graduate work in counseling and social work. Both degrees are 30 hours and can be completed at either Downtown or Robin campuses, day or evening.

The Stress Institute Certificate in Stress Management

The Roosevelt University Stress Institute, housed in the Department of Psychology, offers the Basic and Advanced Certificate in Stress Management. Courses are designed to help health professionals, or students of the health professions (psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, rehabilitation) become skilled practitioners. Students learn the latest in stress theory and research as well as skills in comprehensive relaxation training, guided interpersonal and individual problem solving, and biofeedback. The Basic Certificate is 9 hours and Advanced Certificate 12 hours in length. The Basic Certificate can be completed at either Downtown or Robin Campus. More Information
