Psi Chi
Department of Psychology

Roosevelt University has a chapter of Psi Chi, the national honor society in Psychology, on both the Chicago and Schaumburg campuses.  The membership was chartered at Roosevelt on December 14, 1947.  Psi Chi was founded for the purposes of encouraging, stimulation, and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology.

The Business of Psychology: Thursday, November 13th from 5pm-6pm Room 320 – Chicago campus Auditorium Bldg @ 430 S. Michigan Ave. 

How to start a practice or a consulting firm?  What to do about billing?  How to advertise ethically?  Where to find startup capital?   These and other questions pertinent to the entrepreneurial end of psychology will be tackled by five panelists in this practical discussion of how to make a living in psychology.

This workshop goes beyond classroom training and introduces psychology as the competitive profession it is becoming. Please email us to RSVP so we can provide enough handouts and refreshments for everyone. Post event discussion will begin at 6pm in room 358 for those who can stay.  ALL students are invited to attend this FREE event! Hosted by the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology on Roosevelt's Chicago Campus funding provided by your Student Activity Fee.
