10/09- Request for Applications for Doctoral Dissertation Support Now Available!
The National Quality Improvement Center on Differential Response in Child Protective Services (QIC-DR), funded by the Children’s Bureau, is pleased to release a Request for Applications for Doctoral Dissertation support.
A total of four doctoral students with approved dissertation proposals will each be awarded $25,000 a year for up to two years to support their dissertation research related to differential response. Awards will be made in cycles as outlined in the Request for Applications.
Eligible applicants are doctoral-level graduate students enrolled in accredited public, State-controlled, and private institutions of higher education in the United States, including faith-based institutions of higher education, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Tribally Controlled Land Grant Colleges and Universities.

For applications received by Jan. 15, 2010, 7:00 p.m. (EST), awards will be announced on March 15, 2010. See the Request for Applications for more information about the other three application and award cycles.
