A Japan Student Network Reception to be held at the beautiful Cultural Center of Chicago. Visiting Japanese students, students with interest in Japan, and faculty are welcome for this special occasion Friday, November 6, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Members of the Japan America Society of Chicago, Chicago Sister Cities International, local business and organizations, and government leaders closely involved with Japan, would like to invite you to an exceptional evening reception.  You can meet peers from various universities, network with local business executives, as well as learn more about life in Chicago.

Participants Needed for West Suburban Economic Empowerment Focus Groups:YWCA Metropolitan Chicago would like to speak with women about their experiences finding financial and career advancement resources. The YWCA is currently looking for women who live in the Western Suburbs to participate in our Economic Empowerment focus groups. The focus groups will take place in Glen Ellyn on:
   Wed., Nov. 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 
   Sat., Nov. 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

THE WOMEN'S INITIATIVES TASK FORCE (WITF) provides opportunities for social, educational and professional interaction among women CPAs and offers valuable programs and networking events to assist in personal and professional growth.
