Management B.S. Program Requirements
Management | Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration

The management major requires 18 semester hours (grade C or higher) of management, human resource management and or information systems, including

• MGMT 370 Management Theory and Practice
• MGMT 398 Organizational Development
• HRM 311 Introduction to Human Resource Management

12 semester hours of electives in management, human resource management, and/or information systems

MGMT 300 and MGMT 358 are required core courses and are not used to fulfill management major requirements.

In addition, the following courses must be completed with grade of C or higher:

• MGMT 300 Operations Management
• MGMT 358 Behavioral Science and Organization Theory

Students may use their electives to focus in areas such as Human Resources, Quantitative Management (MGMT 302, MGMT 332 and MGMT 345), Planning (MGMT 304 and MGMT 345) or Information Systems (INFS 330 and INFS 334).
