Finance B.S. Program Requirements
Finance | Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration

In addition to the general requirements, the following requirements for a major in Finance must be completed: at least 18 credits in Finance and related fields with grades of C or higher, including:

• FIN 301 Money and Banking
• FIN 321 Investments
• One of FIN 383, FIN 385 or FIN 387
• One 300-level Finance elective

Six credits selected from Finance courses (excluding FIN 311) or from among:

• ACCT 304-305 Intermediate Accounting I-II
• ACCT 307 Income Tax Law and Procedure
• ECON 323 Price Theory
• ECON 338 Money and the Economy
• ECON 377 International Finance and Balance of Payments
• MATH 269 Financial Mathematics

Other courses may be substituted with prior written consent of a Walter E. Heller College of Business advisor. A minimum grade of C is required in FIN 311 which is a core requirement.
