MBA Concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications
MBA Requirements | Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration

Courses

MBA candidates who wish to concentrate in Integrated Marketing Communications must take the following classes in sequence:

 

  1. IMC 409 Methods of IMC 
  2. IMC 446 Brand Planning and Message Strategy
  3. One class chosen from the list of six Principles electives:
  • IMC 443 Principles of IMC Media Planning
  • IMC 450 Principles of Direct/Database marketing
  • IMC 461 Principles of CRM
  • IMC 471 Principles of PR
  • IMC 472 Principles of Consumer/Trade Promotions
  • IMC 489 Principles of Internet Marketing

MBA students are not allowed to take any IMC classes for which they do not have the prereqs. MKTG 406 is accepted as a substitute for IMC 401.
