Regional Alumni Ambassador Program
Roosevelt University alumni are truly everywhere! However, with limited time and resources, the Alumni Association and University officials are not always able to travel out to your area as frequently as we would like. That's why we need your help as alumni ambassadors in your local areas to keep the connections growing.
What do regional alumni ambassadors do?
- Support alumni relations staff in planning periodic larger scale alumni events
- Serve as resources and contacts for new graduates and other alumni moving to the area
- Organize activities and gatherings for alumni to socialize and network in their own communities
How much time is involved?
- It depends how active your regional ambassadors group wants to be, but at minimum to be considered active we ask that our ambassadors commit to organizing at least 1 gathering/event per year, which usually involves at least 2 - 3 planning meetings.
- Our goal is to set realistic expectations for our volunteers which reflect the reality of your busy lives.
- Check out the responsibilities page below for more information
How do I get started?
- In 2008-09 we are actively recruiting alumni ambassadors in the following locations:
- If you live in one of these areas and want to get involved, check out the links below and contact Dinah Zebot in the office of alumni relations
- A minimum of three ambassadors are required to begin planning events in your area
- In future years we hope to expand our program to other areas where we have a significant number of alumni.
