Maintaining a Good GPA To find out how to raise your GPA you should contact your Academic Advisor to discuss strategies. There may be a few things you can do to raise your grades. For example cut down on your work hours outside of school, take fewer classes, work with a tutor, etc.
Try to prepare for the unforeseen. If you know that the semester will be a busy time at work, don’t schedule as many classes. If you need to, please consider withdrawing from classes. It can help keep your GPA from becoming too low. Be warned however that withdrawing from classes can negatively affect your Financial Aid. When you drop a class please check with your Financial Aid advisor to see if it will affect your aid package. Also please review the Academic Standing policies of the University. |
