Be sure to:

  • Go to all your classes, and complete assigned work.
  • Talk with your advisor. He/she can give you tips on what to do differently.
  • Talk with your professor for input on what you are doing wrong and tips on how to correct it.
  • If you have issues with a professor, talk to him/her about it. If you do not feel satisfied with his/her response, talk with your advisor.
  • Form a study group with classmates. They learn from assisting you as you learn from them.
  • Avoid procrastination. Plan ahead for large projects, and segment large tasks into smaller more manageable parts.
