*Applicants are required to submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, regardless of whether credit was transferred or a degree was received.

If you do not see your intended program listed below, it is likely that no additional materials are required - aside from the Application for Graduate Admission, official transcripts*, and $25 application fee. Unless otherwise noted, admission is rolling or continual; new students are accepted each semester.  Please check your individual program of interest for deadline exceptions and supplemental application requirements.

Overall undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or higher admitted based upon previous academic performance and evaluation of one page essay explaining applicant’s desire to pursue graduate work in sociology. Applicants also should have completed at least four undergraduate sociology courses with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Rolling admission for fall, spring and summer.

Applicants not meeting the above requirements may be considered by submitting a detailed work history, record of community activism, letters of reference, and/or with approval of the graduate sociology advisor.

Two-page, 12 point font, double-spaced essay: “Are there differences between public sector (including non-profit) administration and private sector administration?” Applicants must explain how they arrived at their answer(s), including specific examples of differences and similarities.

Please note: Send this essay as a Word attachment to applyru@roosevelt.edu. The subject line should read: "MPA Admission Essay.” The attachment should include your full name and contact information, such as telephone and preferred email address.

Additional requirements for applicants with GPAs below 3.0 only: resume of professional work history as well as community experience/involvement, along with personal statement describing desire to pursue Public Administration, and two letters of recommendation.

Psychology, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

Bachelor’s or a master’s degree in psychology or in a closely related field and successful completion of the following courses with at least a 3.0 (B) average: General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Research Methods or Introductory Statistics.

Three letters of recommendation including the PsyD Program Recommendation forms (Click here for recommendation forms), curriculum vita, personal statement, Graduate Record Examination scores (GRE; the

general test, including verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing, school code: 1666, GRE Psych. subject test not

required). The Doctorate in Clinical Psychology application (click here to complete the online PsyD application).

*Interviews are by invitation only.  Invited applicants will attend one of two interview days.  Interviews are scheduled for February 26th and March 1st for Fall 2010 applicants and are required for admittance into the program.

Personal statement explaining applicant’s professional goals, work and/or community involvement and interest in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Statement should be no longer than 2 pages, double spaced, standard font. At least 18 hours of psychology required, including General Psychology, Introductory Statistics, Research Methods, and one advanced undergraduate course.

Effective as of July 1st, 2009—All graduate business program applicants, domestic and international,  will be required to submit a GMAT score in addition to the application, personal goal statement, resume and official transcripts.  This includes students with Master's and Doctorate degrees.

Passing score on the Illinois Basic Skills Test (IBST). Overall GPA must be at least 2.7. Grade point average is recalculated using all completed courses whether or not a part of a bachelor’s degree. There is no probation except for Special Education.

For Secondary Education only: Applicants must have completed the equivalent of an undergraduate major in the area in which you wish to gain teaching certification (~30 credits).
